- Abstract
A reprint of the article which appeared in the Fall 200 issue is presented in which the author offers a criticism of the short story "To Da-Duh, in Memoriam" by African American author Paule Marshall. He discusses the themes of colonialism and sugarcane, the role of the sugar industry in Barbados, and the place that landscape holds in the mind of the narrator.
