- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 64-year old white male who was diagnosed with gastric adenocarcinoma. Topics discussed include the upper gastrointestinal (GI) endoscopy, surgical removal of the tumor, and prognosis. Also mentioned are the existence of intestinal metaplasia with small, irregular, tubular structures based on the histopathological examination, narrow band imaging (NBI), and use of biopsy.
