- Authors
HUDSON, BENJAMIN
- Abstract
An essay is presented on the name and immigration related to the Irish Sea. It states that the name Irish Sea is given to a region of the Atlantic Ocean between Ireland and Great Britain, where the climate is mild due to the warm waters. It is stated that immigration changed the situation of the Irish Sea in medieval Europe's geographical conception, and there is archaeological evidence for the movement of Celtic population along the Atlantic coasts before the arrival of the Romans.
