- Abstract
The article identified Benjamin Franklin, as the original entrepreneur in the U.S., possessing a unique character among different success stories. It recalls the 56 men who signed the Declaration of Independence along with Franklin, who are believed to be the most important men in all of history in the U.S. Highlighted is that Franklin has a great sense of humor, an adventurer, and a man born as poor in 1706. Moreover, it compares the life of Franklin with George Whitefield, a famous English Evangelical Methodist preacher in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in terms of personal and spiritual life.
