- Abstract
The article describes a case of an inflammatory pseudotumor (IPT) of the liver in a 40-year-old white Portuguese man. The patient, who had no significant medical history, was presented with asthenia, malaise, headache, sore throat and fever. Details of the results of his physical and laboratory examinations are discussed. Some of the hypothesized etiologic causes of hepatic IPTs include infections, trauma and vascular causes.
