- Abstract
An essay is presented which examines the cultural politics and intellectual activism of Paul Robeson and Richard Wright. It explores the struggles of Robeson and Wright to change the traditional image of the African Americans in the U.S. It highlights the conceptions of Robeson about Black Nationalism and African Nationalism and Wright about outsider consciousness.
