- Abstract
The article presents a study which developed a qualitative method based on liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry to screen for the presence of monensin, lasalocid, salinomycin, and narasin antibiotics in feeds. The findings imply the need for cost-effective analytical methods with short turnaround time (TAT) in veterinary diagnostic laboratories. This would mean increased profitability and boost customer satisfaction.
