- Abstract
The article describes a case of interscapular fibrosarcoma in a dwarf rabbit that started at the injection sites of vaccine and antibiotics. In February 1999, the subject was vaccinated against myxomatosis with a live attenuated vaccine and rabbit viral hemorrhagic disease (RHD) with an inactivated adjuvanted vaccine. It notes the development of a mass at the sites in the following months. Rapid progression of the neoplasm and poor general condition of the rabbit has led the owner to allow his pet to be euthanized in November 2006.
