- Abstract
The article discusses a court case Ring v. Arizona wherein the Supreme Court of the U.S. passed the judgment of capital sentencing with reference to the court ruling on the case Apprendi v. New Jersey. The jury's right of sentencing of death and its decision making was questioned by the Ring case. Information on the role of the capital jury that includes fact finding regarding the case and the role of the judges of ultimately passing the judgment is also presented.
