The article focuses on the functions and forms of vote savings provisions in the electoral law of Australia. It mentions that the variation in savings provisions currently operative across Australia's nine lower house electoral jurisdictions and in a selection of international jurisdictions. It also mentions that distinction between primary and secondary electoral laws and the interactions between these classes of electoral law.
