- Abstract
The article focuses on the significance of radioactive threat inspection in the U.S. The procedures of Customs and Border Protection (CBP) require the incoming cargo to pass through the radiation portal monitors to screen the presence of radiation. This inspection will alert CBP officers when a radioactive threat might occur. The chemical and biological threat changed and is expected to drive new technologies and new products. New sensors will in response and recovery efforts.
