- Abstract
The article presents a five-year study conducted to estimate the impact of the health savings account (HSA)-eligible health plan on the use of health care services such as breast cancer screenings, diabetes care and childhood immunizations, to measure quality of health plans. Topics include health reimbursement arrangements, the U.S. National Committee for Quality Assurance and use of preferred provider organization plan. The study suggests decline in breast cancer screening in the first year.
