- Abstract
This article provides current insights into the pathophysiology of kidney diseases. It highlights the importance of early diagnosis for successful treatment and discusses markers for renal injury and fibrosis. The article also explores potential preventive measures and therapeutic options for acute kidney injury (AKI) and chronic kidney disease (CKD). Additionally, it examines the role of factors such as aquaporin-2, uremic toxins, mesangial tissues, mTOR signaling, and the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system in kidney diseases. The findings presented in this article contribute to the understanding of kidney diseases and may aid in the development of new therapeutic approaches.
