- Title
Unusual Green Fluid Inclusions in QUARTZ.
- Authors
Koivula, John I.
- Abstract
The article describes a polished quartz specimen that appeared to contain a few small light green angular crystals without magnification. It was observed that the quartz specimen appeared to contain a few small light green angular crystals. Based on a thorough examination of the quartz specimen, the green material was actually a liquid filling small trigonal cavities. It is concluded that the fluid inclusions were composed of natural petroleum based on the results of micro-examination of the specimen.
