- Abstract
The article discusses "Thus Spake Zarathustra" which was written by Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche. The discussion focuses on an interpretation of the Prometheus myth in Nietzsche's book "The Birth of Tragedy" and Nietzsche's use of literary pretensions, conflict of wills, the flux of becoming, and romantic dialectics in his books. The attributes of hubris, self-reliance, nonconformity, and self-determination in the Romantic hero are discussed. The morality of autonomy, transcendent wisdom, enlightenment, and "Götterdämmerung" are mentioned.
