- Abstract
The article examines expert witnessing under the Daubert standard in the U.S. It discusses further developments that are expected from the Daubert decision in which Doctor Harold Bursztajn states that additional requirements for written reports from experts will be requested while proffered testimony will be subjected to more pretrial screening. Resources concerning the new Daubert rules are given, one of which is the book "Science at the Bar: Law, Science and Technology in America," by Sheila Jasanoff. Bursztajn also delves into the role of reliability and relevance in the assessment of expert testimony.
