- Abstract
The article focuses on the coverage of construction claims for contractors based on the comprehensive general liability (CGL) insurance policies in the U.S. An outline is provided which shows issues related to simple damage claims that arise from construction defect. Handling insurance coverage claims becomes complicated when it involves multiple occurrences of the property damage. Moreover, it provides information on the basic coverage claims like requirements for property damage. Information is provided to identify whether damage is caused by an occurrence.
