- Abstract
The article focuses on the teaching strategy that prevents adolescent peer violence and victimization. It suggests that middle schools and high schools can practice prevention by arranging purposeful discussions about the many forms of victimization including bullying, cheating and ostracizing a person or persons. It comments that by engaging with texts and others, young people can shape their identities, make sense of the world, and move away from victimizing themselves and others.
