- Abstract
The article presents a case study of an 82-year-old female with arthritis in her glenohumeral joints who has been receiving cortisone injections, and with a history of mild hypertension. It states that a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) has confirmed normal morphology on femoral head and mild degeneration in hip joint leading to a diagnosis of avascular necrosis (AVN). It also says that the patient has undergone a successful total hip replacement three days after her last visit to the clinic.
