- Abstract
In this article, the author discusses how clinical reasoning of a practicing clinician and a clinician in the field of their profession. The author mentions the three components of clinical reasoning namely knowledge, cognition, and metacognition. She says that as a physician assistant (PA) educator, observing students struggling to improve their skills in clinical reasoning has reminded her not to take the skills for granted.
