- Authors

- Abstract
The article focuses on the two-stage revision arthroplasty in treating an infected total knee replacement. It states that two-stage revision allows the infection to be eradicated before the new and revised joint components as well as providing patients with a functional knee that allows for ambulation and freedom to perform everyday activities. However, patients should expect to lose some function of their prosthesis following the procedures.
