- Abstract
This article presents a reply by the author to a student paper by Linda Saarnjoki. The author discusses his learning experiences as a teacher. He says that each class reacts differently to the same things. According to him, there is a need to make a corresponding differentiation in presentation, which would help make teaching the same thing for three classes a little more interesting for the teacher, too. The author says that there is a fine line between empathizing with the students and actually becoming like a student again. He says it is important to retain that dividing line, but to retain some kind of decorum in the classroom.
