- Title
Benatar's Alleged Second Sexism.
- Authors
Clatterbaugh, Kenneth
- Abstract
The article discusses the alleged of David Benatar on his article regarding second sexism in the U.S. Benatar argues that men have a claim to discrimination which is sufficiently strong and entails a further claim to a second sexism. He seems to believe that sexism is a sufficient social injustice that should be contradicted in the same way to those sexist attitudes and practices of which women are the primary victims. Benatar defines second sexism is the same thing as discrimination against males while discrimination is disadvantaging on the basis of some morally irrelevant feature such as person's sex.
