The article focuses on the advantages of gamification on student's learning. It highlights the role of the Next Generation Science Standards' science and engineering practices, disciplinary core ideas and crosscutting concepts on improving learning through games. It mentions that the non-profit education organization Educational Gaming Environments group offers educational games to increase science literacy.
