This article presents ways in which a teacher can prevent instances of cheating from happening in the classroom. It shows that although cheating has always been part of the classroom setting, it is not insolvable and, thus, it can be lessened or played down. Tips in minimizing cheating in the classroom include having the teacher define her expectations, arranging the classroom in a setting that discourages cheating, and lessening circumstances that favor cheating.
