The Response to Srebrenica from States Not Directly Involved in the Atrocities.

- Abstract
This article focuses on the response to Srebrenica from 'other states', that is, states that were not directly involved in the events of July 1995. Such response, albeit extremely limited, includes both judicial and non-judicial measures. A distinction will be drawn between two categories of responses: those aimed at holding accountable members of the army of the Republika Srpska for the atrocities in Srebrenica, and those aimed at determining what responsibility other states' nationals should bear for the tragedy. These initiatives have offered an important contribution to the ultimate objectives of establishing the truth and ensuring accountability.
