- Abstract
The article discusses the social conditions of men in a post-industrial society as of May 2013, focusing on author Hanna Rosin's book "The End of Men: And the Rise of Women," gender policies, and the social conditions of men and women in Islamic Republic of Iran (Iran) throughout history. Marriage and sexual relations in Iran are addressed, along with the political and social influence of then-Iranian President Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani in 1990. Shi'a Muslims and sexual segregation are examined.
