Abstract
The author highlights the need for research communities to address the intensification of using animals in industrial and academic researches in the U.S. He suggests that research scientists must demonstrate determination, visibility and persistence to have continued access in using animals as research models. An overview of the many successful advances in primate researches including the deep-brain stimulation to alleviate the symptoms of advanced Parkinson's disease is also presented.
