- Abstract
A numerical and analytical solution of the full equations of the physical theory of a meteoroid (PTM, braking, energy, and trajectory-inclination equations) as a single body is given. Using the method of successive approximations, expressions for the dimensionless velocity and mass are obtained taking into account the variability of the inclination of the meteoroid trajectory. On the basis of this, we obtained an expression in an analytical form for the velocity head and linear (per unit path) kinetic energy, both for a single body and for a crushing body. We have shown that, for a single body, the formulas for velocity and mass depend on one effective parameter.
