- Abstract
This paper analyzes the particularities of political praxis that are reproduced in the participation spaces of the municipality of Tlalpan. The guiding questions pose how given the changes in the political system clientelistic practices have been adapted to better suit the new political reality. To answer them, a qualitative study was carried out between 2015 and 2019 that included attending mass events and meetings between the different actors as well as semi-structured interviews with party leaders, town hall officials, intermediaries and district managers, as well as citizens linked to political networks. Proposed that the means of civic participation are the product of political exchanges that expressed beyond the electoral sphere and reproduced in the framework of political subjectivities and shared habitus.
