- Authors

- Abstract
At the core of this contribution is the famous Italian author, Eugenio Montale. Eugenio Montale is one of the most important authors of the contemporary period, whose interest has grown mainly in English and American schools. Montale's contribution has been valuable beyond the Italian border whose traces and influences can also be found in other foreign poets. Article studies his many works in depth, starting mainly from the style that coincides with the most important author of the middle ages, Dante Alighieri. His studies consist of strong technique and vocabulary, which is how he received the term Dantesque. Dante has been the pioneer of Montale, where he has often been denied and then accepted by the author himselp. In this article we will see Montale in several thematic spheres such as love, politics, pain and suffering, but the one who stands on top of all these themes to guide him is exactly Dante.
