- Abstract
The family is a complex social group and it represents a unique dynamic social framework in which various processes (biological-reproductive, economic, educational- cultural etc.) and functions (biological-reproductive, economic, socialization and protective function) are taking place. It should be noted that there were different organizations of family life in different social systems at different times. With the development of a modern society, the basis on which the family is based changes, the character of certain functions changes, some functions are displaced from the family (transferred to social institutions) and some functions are reduced. Changes in modern society have an impact on family functions or reduce family functions.
