When investigating the role of international and regional organizations in promoting conflict prevention policies, the United Nations (UN), the European Union (EU) and the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) are particularly useful since to be mentioned. These three organizations were key in accepting and implementing preventative actions and, accordingly, were committed to raising awareness and mediating when it comes to conflict prevention.
