- Abstract
The article discusses British Prime Minister Robert Banks Jenkinson, 2nd Earl of Liverpool, who led his country through the end of the Napoleonic Wars and subsequent European diplomatic relations. His cabinet included Viscount Castlereagh, George Canning,and Arthur Wellesley, Duke of Wellington. Topics include British foreign relations with other European countries during his leadership, Europe's balance of power, Britain's attitudes towards counties such as Spain and Naples which dealt with political unrest, and British foreign policy in the 1820s.
