- Title
Sentencia del Tribunal Superior de Justicia de Castilla y León (Valladolid), de 20 de junio de 2023 (Sala de lo Contencioso, Sección 1, Ponente: Luis Miguel Blanco Domínguez).
- Authors
Hedo, Eva Blasco
- Abstract
The Superior Court of Justice of Castilla y León has ruled that the Plan for the improvement of air quality due to tropospheric ozone must provide specific content for each area. The sentence establishes that the Administration has six months to develop the corresponding plans for the atmospheric zones. It is highlighted that the contested Plan does not specify the emission sources, pollution reduction objectives, or improvement measures and projects for each area. The Federation of Ecologists in Action filed an appeal against the agreement of the Junta de Castilla y León that approved the plan, arguing that the administration did not take into account the different areas with high levels of ozone pollution.
