- Abstract
Overall, the local procedure for critical value notification was rated as good or excellent by the vast majority of responders (i.e. >80%; 84% medical doctors and 80% nurses). First, the overall appreciation and satisfaction of physicians and nurses was unexpectedly high, constantly over 80%, thus attesting that critical value communication is positively perceived outside the boundaries of clinical laboratories.
