- Title
True picture of social care 'not reflected by star ratings'
- Abstract
The article focuses on the report issued by the Commission for Social Care Inspection (CSCI) which reveals that the 2008 local council star ratings has improved over the past two years in Great Britain. The commission highlights the problems with how people qualify for council-funded help and how they qualify for better services. Paul Snell, chief inspector at CSCI, said that the move is good in working on local councils in England but star ratings do not help people with learning disabilities.
