Une genèse de vie entre les langues français, wallon, grec, latin, néerlandais, allemand, anglais.
- Authors
Gabriel, Jenny
- Abstract
This text relates a life story looked at from the angle of native and foreign language learning, including those - the walloon in this example - to which the whims of fate granted only the status of « dialect ». Each language lie within a context marked by socio-political circumstances, restraints, personal memories, feelings and emotions that are bound to it. To become aware of the complexity of any personal relationship to tongues and languages allows the necessary distance to a fruitful comprehension of the phenomenon.
