- Title
Sustaining 'the best generation of teachers".
- Authors
Waterman, Chris
- Abstract
The article offers the author's insights on the advocacy of British Secretary of State for education Michael Gove to eliminate worst teachers in the country. The author says Gove's attack on teachers was the reputational decline of the profession for the National Union of Teachers (NUT) and the National Association of Schoolmasters/Union of Women Teachers (NAS/UWT). He adds that Gove believes that schools have the major role for the training and recruitment among teachers.
