- Abstract
The article focuses on the significance of family reconstitution method of slave and free families in province of La Havana in Cuba. It investigates the behavior of marriages in the province's two plantations including San Rafael founded by Lieutenant Colonel Pedro Rafael Armenteros and San José Recuerdo owned by Jacinto González Larrinaga. Family reconstitution is considered to be extremely useful in establishing the presence, strength and essential of family.
