- Title
LIBYA-UK-US.
- Abstract
The article reports on the decision of Kenny MacAskill, Justice Secretary of Scotland, to free Abdelbaset Ali al-Megrahi, a convicted Libyan for the Lockerbie bombing. It states that the release of Megrahi was due to his prostate cancer. According to Director of U.S. Federal Bureau Robert Mueller, the action of MacAskill gives comfort to terrorists. Seif al-Islam accuses the British government that the release of Megrahi was a way to seek advantages for the oil and gas commercial contracts.
