- Abstract
The article discusses the role of technology in carbon emissions and future change in land use. It says that the reduction in the rate of changes in technology in the crop sector increases tropical deforestations' carbon emission, and decreases by the technological changes in the livestock sector. It adds that the effect of technology in temperate regions are mixed as structural differences in agricultural production commingles with land use' relative returns.
