- Abstract
The article proposes universities to increase the exposure of graduate assistants in the classroom to online instructional environments. Guidance is offered to online graduate assistants to gain experience in effective teaching strategy. Several ways to insert teaching guidance into an online course are suggested including groups, discussions forums and learning management systems (LMS) usage logs. The value of professional development in teaching is also discussed.
