- Abstract
The article discusses the court case Hall Street Associates LLC v. Mattel Inc. The U.S. Supreme Court declares that where the application of the judicial review provisions of the Federal Arbitration Act (FAA), they offer the exclusive grounds for modification or vacation of an award. The provisions stricted the bases for denial to affirm awards to gross abuses of process, and the bases for changing of awards to mechanical errors evident on the face of the award.
