- Abstract
The article aims to bring out a distinction between the metaphysical concepts of grounding and causation. Topics include similarities between grounding and causation including determination relations, the practical reasoning between them, several differences like structural differences including diachronic and synchronic nature, logical differences including irreflexivity, and asymmetry. Also discussed are some dialectical differences including divergence and sociological theories.
