- Authors
Maldigian, Remy
- Abstract
The article offers the author's insights on the religious leaders James Mooney and Jeffrey Bronfman in the U.S. The author says that Bronfman is known as a mestre in the Uniã do Vegetal (UDV) (Union of the Plant) in South America, whose members observe psychedelic spiritual ritual by drinking a tea hoasca which legalized by the U.S. Supreme Court. She adds that Mooney is the de facto head of the Oklevueha Native American Church, which also use the hoasca except the substance of peyote.
