- Abstract
In this article, the author presents a rejoinder for his views regarding the wrongful arrest of the ships in reference to the counterarguments made by Professor Martin Davies. He states the primary precondition of the arrest of the ship is to grant the arrest warrant to the would be arresting party. He further explains the formulations of the damage claims and the discretion of the court regarding the damages paid by the claimant.
