- Abstract
The article discusses the New York Court of Appeals case People v. O'Daniel, considering right to counsel of a defendant's choice and the Sixth Amendment of the United States Constitution. The case stems from the fact that O'Daniel was forced to trial for efficiency and expediency with legal counsel not of his choosing, an aspect of the administration of criminal justice which was upheld on appeal.
