- Abstract
The article offers information on the judicial rulings of the U.S. Supreme Court in cases including Lucas v. South Carolina Coastal Council and First English Evangelical Lutheran Church of Glendale v. County of Los Angeles, in which the Court applied the total takings test for monetary compensation claims against violation of the land use and private property rights. It informs that the Court satisfied ripeness requirements under Williamson County Regional Planning Commission v. Hamilton Bank.
