- Authors

- Abstract
The article focuses on the vulnerability and legal aspects on protecting subsea infrastructures for underwater attacks. It states that subsea infrastructures like gas pipelines, telecommunication and electricity cables are prone to underwater attacks due to its use in global markets and technological hurdles to quickly respond for stealth attacks. It also discusses the extent and shortcoming of the 1982 Convention on the Law of the Sea (LOSC), which provisions states' claim for such attacks.
